Virggie W. Haynes
Age 95, Brownsburg, died Feb. 1, 2013. She was born Sept. 26, 1917 in Traders Point, IN and was the daughter of Robert E. Lee Turpin and Nannie Mae Skinner Turpin. She had worked for many years for Morris Plan before retiring. She was a member of Brownsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church and was a long time member of Eastern Star. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and a special daughter Ruth Burroughs. Preceding her in death were her husband Bernard M. Haynes, son Bernard Virgil Haynes, special son Jerry Burroughs, and sisters Florence Brunes, Lucille Hott Mersing, Dora Henson, Nettie Haulk, Mary Osborn, Macy Turpin and brothers Floyd Turpin and John Turpin. Funeral services will be 1pm Mon. Feb. 4 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 11am to 1pm.. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
