Virgil Owen Jr.
Age 83, Brownsburg, passed away Dec. 3, 2013. He had been a maintenance and groundskeeper for The Country Club of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Strickler Owen; father Virgil Owen Sr.; step-mother Mary Owen; step-brother Gary Owen. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Judy Owen; daughter Deborah (Marvin) Daugherty; sisters Nancy Hardwick and Sally Atkinson-Lutes; step-brother Larry (Linda) Owen, step-sister Patricia (Bill) Rost. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Dec. 6 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Sat. Dec. 7 in Light and Life Free Methodist Church in Avon, IN. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
