Walter R. Penn Jr.

74, of Eddy, Texas, passed away on September 13th, 2026. He was born in Indianapolis to his parents Walter Sr. and Margaret (Adams) Penn on December 26th, 1951. Following his early education, Walter went on to pursue a career in sales with Indiana Insurance for many years. He then worked with Orkin Pest Control before retiring and sowing his wild oats in Texas. There, he enjoyed years of hard work on his beloved Rugged Cross cattle ranch. Walter was also a dedicated member of Cowboy Church in Eddy, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Margaret; as well as his cherished grandson Cayman Warner. Walter is survived by his wife Lynne Penn; children Staci Warner, Chris Penn, and Carmandy (Eric) Bird; step-children Jon (Mandalyn) Zimmerman and Melissa Zimmerman; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will celebrate Walter’s death privately at a later date.
