Walter "Skip" Whiting
age 71, Brownsburg, passed away Dec. 16, 2011. He had been an air traffic controller for the FAA, retiring in 1995 and currently owned Whiting Business Services. He had served in US Army. He was a member of Pittsboro Masonic Lodge, Brownsburg American Legion and Plainfield Eagles, and attended Cornerstone Christian Church. Survivors include his wife Sandra Whiting; children Stacy Hiquet, Kim Whiting, and Dean Whiting; half-brother Bud Barnett; grandchildren Parker Hiquet, J.T. Hiquet, Shelby Hiquet, Kyle Gibson, Ross Skaggs, Alena Whiting and Nicole Whiting. Funeral services will be 1pm Mon. Dec. 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 11am-1pm.
