Obituary

Wanda Mae Mason Workman
age 84, Brownsburg, passed away on Oct. 5, 2011 at Hendricks Regional Health. She was born May 24, 1926 in Beech Corner, MO, to the late James Oval and Opal Hayden Mason. She was a graduate of Beech Corner schools and attended business college in Memphis, TN, where she met and married Raymond John Workman, who preceded her in death in March of this year. After working as a secretary during WWII, Mrs. Workman became a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Bethesda Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher for many years. She is survived by her children Larry Workman (Naki) of Missouri, Linda McCullen (Bill) of Mooresville, and Richard Workman (Deborah) of Prince's Lakes; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 11am Sat. Oct. 8 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 10am-11am. Memorials can be made to the Bethesda Baptist Church.
