William W. Carter Jr.
88, Brownsburg, passed away July 27, 2021. He had been a district manager and retired from Graybar Electric in 1987 after 30 years. He attended Bluefield College and West Virginia University and received his Master's degree from Pacific Western University. He served in the US Army from 1955-57. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. William's wife Elizabeth Carter preceded him in death in 2020. Survivors include his daughter Diana Hernandez (husband Ernesto); grandchildren Alex Carter VanPelt (husband Justin), Kristin Hernandez and Aimee Hernandez. Visitation will be 12 noon to 2 pm Monday August 2 at Calvary United Methodist Church, with funeral services there at 2 pm. Entombment with military honors will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
