William "Bill" Elkins, 67, Indianapolis, passed away Jan. 8, 2017. He was the son of Cliff and Mickey Elkins and grew up in Brownsburg. He served in the US Army and fought in Vietnam. Bill is survived by his wife Denise; brothers Jim (Sara) and John; nephews Eric and Andy. Visitation will be 10am to 12 noon Sat. Jan. 14 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 noon. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society at www.indyhumane.org or donor's favorite charity.
