William Howard Gould

October 26, 1940 to March 26, 2024

Bill Gould went to meet his heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 26th at The Gathering Together (Hospice Center) in Plainfield, IN, surrounded by his family.

Bill was born October 26, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN, to Paul and Mildred Gould.

Bill and Barbie found the love of their lives April 1981 and were married September 3, 1983.  Along with his wife, he is survived by children Tim (Mary) Gould, Kristi (Keith) Nelson, Jody (Brett) Wilson, Denise (Kurt) Miller, Duff (Stephanie) Robbins, John and Lisa Rumley.

Grandchildren include Jake (Madison) Gould, Sam Gould, Shane (Sarah) Nelson, Ty and Maya Wilson, Matt (Shauna) Miller, Amanda (Jeremy) Miller, Rebecca and Rachel Robbins. Great Grandchildren are Logan Gould, Thomas and Cynthia Nelson, Aubree and Ellie Miller. Also surviving are his sister, Suzy (George) Schneider, sister-in-laws Virginia (Ginny) Gould and Beverly Forbis, several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Paul Gould, Jr., and brother-in-law, Fred Forbis.

After graduating from Greencastle High School in 1959, Bill started working for the family grocery store, Gould's Market.  He then worked for IBM from 1964 to 1994 in Greencastle and Pennsylvania.  He was later a driver for Hendricks Co. Senior Services for 15 years.

Currently members of Faith Baptist Church in Danville, they were married at First Baptist Church, Greencastle.  Bill enjoyed spending time with family.

Services will be held April 5th at Faith Baptist Church, Danville at 12:00 p.m. Visitation starts 2 hours prior to the service. Interment at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.  In lieu of flowers, Bill requests donations to The Gathering Together, 147 Center Street, Plainfield, IN, 46168 and/or Faith Baptist Church of Danville, 3860 East Main Street, Danville, IN 46122.
