William Frederick Hartung
age 74, passed away on December 10, 2013 in his home. He was born in Montgomery County, Indiana to Howard Chadwick and Hazel French Hartung on February 5, 1939. He grew up in Francesville, Indiana and later graduated in 1957 from Amo High School. He worked as an accountant for many years. Bill attended Calvary United Methodist Church in Brownsburg, Indiana. Survivors include Mary Jane Hartung; three children, Bill (Lisa) Hartung, Sara (Scott) Fifer, and Susan (Lee) Benjamin; six grandchildren, David and Rebecca Fifer, Jon, Abbey, Aaron, and Adam Benjamin; three brothers, Robert Hartung, Michael Hartung, and Stephen Hartung; and his good friend, Linda Sinclair. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held on Sunday, December 22 with viewing from 1:00-2:00 pm with memorial service to follow at Calvary United Methodist Church in Brownsburg, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
