William J. Swift, age 71, Carmel, passed away Feb. 9, 2015. He had owned and operated Goodyear stores for many years. He was a US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Brenda Jane. He is survived by his wife Brenda Swift; children Jennifer (Jeremy) Cochran, Derrick (Becky) Swift; stepson Steve (Brynn) Cochran; brother Ron Swift; 7 grandchildren. Memorial visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Mon. Feb. 16 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with memorial services there at 1 pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
