Winifred "Freddie" Klagstad

72, Indianapolis, passed away on June 18, 2022.  She was an event coordinator for many years.  She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Plainfield, IN and helped start the Avon Chamber of Commerce.  Freddie had a passion for cooking and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Klagstad and parents Edward and Ramona McCreary.  Survivors include her sons Michael (Jackie) Dove, Zachary Dove; sisters Alice Lyons, Dawn (Gary) Smith; brothers John (Marcia) McCreary, Steve (Lena) McCreary, Joseph (Susan) McCreary, and Kyle McCreary.  A private graveside service will be held in Spencer, IN.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center for Lymphoma.  Please make memorial gifts payable to IU Foundation/Lymphoma Research.  Please indicate "In memory of Freddie Klagstad" on your gift.  Mail to:  IU Simon Cancer Center, PO Box 7072, Indianapolis, IN  46207.
