Winnie G. Patten
100 years old, of Mooresville, IN, passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2025. Winnie was a frequent babysitter and longtime member of the Clermont Church of the Nazarene. Her final days were spent under the loving care of her cherished granddaughter, Jamie Higgins. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Patten; parents George and Lucy Gault; sons Carl Thompson, Ernie Thompson, and Harvey "Smokey" Patten. Winnie is survived by her son Leroy "Butch" Thompson; daughter Carole Smedley; sisters Linda Dennison and Barbara Thayer; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 12th from 11 am to 1 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services to follow at 1pm. Burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
