Donnie A. Rideout
41, Brownsburg, passed away on November 8, 2021. He was an Army Veteran who served for 10 years and 3 months. He served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, where he met his wife Amber. He was awarded the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, NATO Afghanistan Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Armed Services award. He volunteered for the Brownsburg Junior Basketball League and Brownsburg Junior Football League and was known to all the kids as Coach D. Donnie volunteered for the Indiana Blue Star Salute and as a dance prop dad for his daughters dance studio. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Family was the most important thing to him. Donnie is survived by his loving wife Amber Rideout; son Kingston "King" Rideout; daughter Scarlett "Letti" Rideout; father Don Rideout; mother Donna Rideout; sisters Laura Rideout and Alicia Rideout-Lahey. Visitation will be from 3 pm to 5 pm Mon. Nov. 22 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 5 pm followed by Military Honors. Please enter through Door 10.
